configured WAN routers supporting the Pacific Region for geographically
disparate sites as well as a new network for the Learmonth Solar observatory
in Western Australia. This network provided the main communication link to
outside agencies, which allowed valuable weather and environmental
information to be collected and analyzed.
§ Served as in-house subject-matter expert
for fiber-optic networks. Rapidly resolved 35 separate production stoppages
and trained three staff members in troubleshooting best practices.

communication link; migrated capability from commercial to military backbone,
